I thought I'd just update the mylar users that relyl on usegroups.
There is a troll in the group that downloads the posters usegroup provider from the header, and then contacts the providers abuse email to claim that they are posting copy write material. Thus the posters get terms of service strike and they are unable to post.
So if you rely on the newsgroups for your downloads. No clue how long this troll will be around. But for now the group is basically dead. Not many comics released, but there are still some coming out.
Just a heads up for newsgroups again. Kind souls who have posted recently have been getting TOS strikes again. So no one is posting on newsgroup for the moment.
It may be time that someone with knowledge posts them in an obfuscate form and upload the nzbs to the/some usenet indexers. I dunno how to do it, but out of curiosity would love to know how that's done.
Would that cause any issues with Mylar? or since it's already going through the indexer it would just be business as usual?
