Torznab - Jackett - Setup

Post by DarkSlave »

Need help with Torznab setup. I can manually search, find, and download; but Mylar doesn't seem to be finding the same exact one and automatic sending to download.

Current setup:
• Mylar v0.6.4 (master)
• Jackett 0.20.590
• Deluge set with Label: comics-mylar

Torrent sites:
• 1137x
• The Pirate Bay
• Torrent Downloads
• Zooqle

Example of one of them:
Torznab Name: The Pirate Bay
Torznab Host: [copy/paste Jackett code for feed]
Torznab API: [copy/paste Jackett API]
Torznab Category: [empty]
Enabled: [checked]
Test: [green check]

Honestly, not enough information to provide any help with.

Turn on debug logging, do a search and then generate a carepackage and link to that. We can't help if we can't see what's happening when you search.

Torrents are notoriously named bad, especially with comics. Just because you can find it visually, doesn't mean an automated solution can do the same just as easily. Packs aren't supported in torrents due to the inconsistencies with naming.

TPB is useless for comics, and last I checked zooqle doesn't have any comics on it. The other two sites probably use magnet links which might also contribute to the problem.

So in investigating this further, it seems it opened up a slew of issues that started back when we merged up our last big merge.

Basically torznab has been broken since that ( ~ near-end of January for python3-dev, v0.6.4 in master ) - at least from all accounts and some testing.

The fix for the torznab related problems will be merged into the python3-dev branch tomorrow at some point, so you can switch your docker install to the nightly branch if you want, or you can wait until the merge which (hopefully) takes place this weekend some time most likely due to testing and bug resolution.
