on Wednesdays there are some comics that take a long time before details are entered in ComicVine. But the comics are available online many hours before this happens. Please add an option to disable this required check so the comics can be snatched as soon as they are available. Rely on the release info from the pull list.
Thanks.

Re: Option to disable CV Release date requirement
Given how Mylar interacts with the pullist, this won't happen with watchlisted series currently. The release info from the pull-list IS data taken from CV + other sources, but uses a primary backend to accumulate all the data for the clients. This is a problem with the way that CV updates the issue data on Wednesdays, and has always been a problem for the CV API to show the data (it doesn't show on the API unless it has an issueid). As such, the item can be Wanted on the weekly pull, but not have any issue data present within Mylar which would mean it wouldn't be shown on the series detail page. It would also not show in the Wanted section since that is taken from the watchlisted series, not the pullist (again, it's about having relevant issue information to show via the API).
The date is the main factor in the pull that Mylar uses to retrieve/update the data. Disabling the check then removes all the checks that are in place to ensure that the comic being snatched/post-processed is actually the right one (if the date doesn't exist, Mylar can't confirm that Wolverine #1 is not the Wolverine #1 from earlier in the year kinda deal). If it doesn't know the comicid, or issueid of a given issue from the pull that's being manually snatched but is on the watchlist it doesn't know what watchlisted series it should belong to (especially if it's mulitple-volumes in a given year).
Plus then you get into the metatagging aspect - which is a huge thing. If the issue data isn't available on CV yet (which is what happens when the date isn't present), then when it goes to metatag the given issue (for when it post-processes the snatched issues) it doesn't have any metadata to tag and then your issues well have all fubar'd metadata that is blank. So then a system would have to be built in order to accommodate those issues that don't have metadata as of yet, but the file was downloaded....
I've struggled with this since the inception of Mylar really - CV has always sucked at updating the information, but really the issue data can only be available AFTER the physical issue has been released and has a store date of some kind. The closest we have atm is the 'one-off' option on the pull-list which will not check for issue date, ableit it might know the comicid due to the backend source.
It's an ongoing thing/problem that I'm always looking to address somehow, but have yet to find a solution that works correctly enough to implement fully.
