Custom StoryArc directories?

Post by senorsmartypants »

I almost have Mylar configured to match my directory structure set up in ComicRack for Crossovers. Here is my current setting:

Code: Select all

Web UI
Arc Folder Format: $publisher/Crossover/$spanyears - $arc

config.ini
storyarc_location = /storage/Comics
But CR currently just uses the start year, not the spanyears. Is there an option to have Mylar just use the start year for a SA?

I also have comics that I use the format "Event" in CR. I put these under a series group, and not at the publisher level. So I can have for example X-men related StoryArcs that don't touch all the entire Marvel universe. Would it be possible to manually override the SA location per SA in mylar? Like how you can do it for individual series. Format is like $publisher/$seriesgroup/Event/$spanyears - $arc

I've also just noticed that TPB and omnibus editions of events get added to the issue list in CV. When these come out a year or two later (like for King in Black) that expands the spanyears to not really be representative of when the event really occured.

I think this may somewhat be a limitation of story arcs (like most things) relying on comicvine as the source of truth.

If you stumble back across this - I know it's been a couple of years - you might find the (relatively) recent addition of importing CBL reading lists do some of what you're after - and also don't include TBPs
