Annuals in subdir counted twice

Post by senorsmartypants »

I'm storing my annuals for a series in a subdir of the main series called "Annuals". Mylar seems to pick these up by is counting them and putting them into an odd "downloaded" state without all the icons that the regular series comics have.

Here is the log output from a file rescan

Code: Select all

2018-09-12 11:09:45	INFO	[FILE-RESCAN] I have physically found 56 issues, ignored 0 issues, snatched 0 issues, and accounted for 2 in an Archived state [ Total Issue Count: 58 / 56 ]

2018-09-12 11:09:44	WARNING	[FILE-RESCAN] It looks like you have physical issues in the series directory, but are forcing these issues to an Archived Status. Adjusting have counts.
2018-09-12 11:09:44	INFO	[FILE-RESCAN] Total files located: 56
2018-09-12 11:09:43	INFO	there are 56 files.

Do you have annual integration enabled?

Do the annuals in the annual subfolder contain the word annual or is it just like "This Series 001.cbr"?

Can you post the debug log of a file recheck so I can see the process and what's happening as far as the counts / parser?

Annual integration is turned on.

Yes, annual filenames have the word Annual in them.

Which 2 issues are marked as Archived in your list within Mylar for that particular series?

How many annuals are displayed under that particular series?

Nothing is marked as Archived.

There are 2 Annuals, status downloaded. However they only have the "Manual Search", "Add to Reading List", and "Mark annual as Skipped" buttons. They are missing the download, view issue details, and meta-tag issue buttons.

K, there's something that's marked as Archived somewhere in that list that's messing things up. Were the annuals previously located in the main, series directory?

You can try this:
-select all the issues and change the status to Skipped using the dropdown at the top of the issues list.
-select all the annuals and change the status to Skipped using the annuals dropdown (just above the annuals section itself)
-refresh the screen so you can verify that all the status have been changed to Skipped.
-do a Recheck Files.
-refresh the screen after it completes (it will update the status automatically for the issues section, but a bug is that it doesn't update the annuals section - thus the screen refresh)
-hopefully that will get you back to a 56/56 count.

Annuals were never in the main series directory.

-Selecting all series issues and marking as skipped worked fine.
-Selecting all annuals and marking as skipped didn't do anything.
-I marked each annual as skipped by clicking the X in each row.
-All files marked as skipped confirmed with browser window refresh. Issue count is still wrong.
-Rechecking files results in the same state as before 58/56 count. Annuals still missing some "downloaded" buttons

I noticed something in the log about "corrected" something...
