Mylar producing its own folder names?

Post by jmurra21 »

So I have Mylar organizing my library. I've used comictagger already.

I have it set up so that the folder hierarchy is set to
$Publisher\$Year\$Month\$Day

This comes out one of two ways

Examples: DC.Comics\2022\2\3\

But also: DC.Comics\$Year\$Month\$Day\

How can I fix this to always show the way I intend it to be?

$month and $day are not supported folder types - those 2 fields are restricted to file format only. There is an "I" icon beside the folder format setting in Mylar - it shows all the available options for Folder formatting (there is also one for file formats, and they're different items listed).

Odds are the ones it showed the numeric values for day and month in the directory are because they were TPB/one-shots with only one issue.

And before you ask, cause you probably will - month and day belong on an issue level, never on a series level - so that's why they're only available in the file format for issues.
