Hi Evilhero,

I tried that, but it doesn't sort it by ones that are refreshing. Status only sorts by Continuing or Ended. On the main page is the only way for me to sort by "active" and it puts them to the top, but I have to go into each one and click refresh manually.

I had one comic:
It wouldn't stop refreshing even tho the \ was corrected.
File name was:
H:dark horse comics\Red Bulls E-Sport Comic The Fateful 8 (2015)

I added the \ after the H: and then it finally refreshed.

Update to the latest development commit, and in the keyword filter box on the Manage Comics page- enter in the status you want to filter by (ie. Active, Paused, Loading, Error) - in your case, you want to put in 'Loading' and then it will filter and show all your comics that are in a Loading status. Then you can just checkmark the ones you want and pick the Refresh Series from the dropdown.

Yay! Thanks,

Ok, so I've gotten all the ones that were stuck. I did notice a few new ones. So I'm sure I'll continue to run into this problem as it refreshes more series.

There were a large number of files that were correct, but stuck as well. I'm not sure why that is. Were they in Que and when it hit something with the wrong / it just shut hung the othersl?

ok, so back to the 0-day not downloading problem ;)

Althub has a large number of the files. They've been posted earlier today, and nothing has downloaded. I clicked manual download to start The Punisher 010, checked the log, and it said it was no good because the date wasn't updated (showed 0000-00-00). Fine, I get that, but issue 2 was missing and manual search didn't find it (it is on althub). Checked another one that had the correct date deathstroke 042, went to comicvine to verify the date it was right althub also has it available. Hit the manual download button and... nothing.

Also, there are no issues stuck in "loading" at this time.

I am confuse.

Here is the log, sorry it's large, it's had debug on all day.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/8n64h6kqqlzb3 ... 7.rar?dl=0

Thanks, sorry for being a pain. but again, no one else seems to be having this issue, so maybe my install of Mylar is just screwed? To many issues/series Mylar is crapping out? or I don't know?

Update:
Mylar is using 131,140K memory
I've killed the instance and reloaded Mylar.
and files are downloading happily. Something is seriously squirrelly

here's that log:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/l0qb5uda8z1ch ... g.rar?dl=0

Update 2:
Happily is a bit of a stretch I guess.
it qued up 9 files then stopped.
1 more came in about 5-10 minutes later, and nothing since.

Here's that log:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/7hww2kk0fr7di ... g.rar?dl=0

Update 3:
Nothing downloaded over night.
Nothing is stuck in a loading state.
I forgot I had turned on DDL out of curiosity, and well it grabbed something (Ronin Island 001), or so it said in the log, but I have no idea where it is or what it did with it or if it even downloaded as it didn't move it and update it in Mylar.
I'm wondering if the manual post=processing isn't breaking it, as it is set to run every 5 minutes, and nothing seems to happen Mylar wise after that. But just a guess.

Here's that log:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/5uce3uywlcoyx ... g.rar?dl=0

Update 4: (last one)
I killed Mylar instance when it was on the rss
started it up again and it set 34 issues to download. So that is good.
But then it stopped after Black Hammer 45 001 (which was a release from last week)
Nothing else happened, there are 20+ issues left and several of them are on althub, and the dates are correct in mylar.

I did a manual search for The Immortal Hulk, and nothing happened. I changed the "alternate name search" to just immortal hulk, but again manual search didn't find it.

It works, and then it just crashes, rather it just gives up on the searches. If I drop something in and do a manual post-process it works fine, and if I let it activate post processing on it's own it works fine to. Search just kills itself for some reason.

Here's that log:

In addition to the above updates.

I did shut Mylar down and start it up again after refreshing some series since some of the marvel one's were wrong.
It rebooted and grabbed 9 files then quit.

I checked again and these ones are on alt hub but not being downloaded by Mylar:

Oberon 003 (2019) (digital) (Son of Ultron-Empire)

Fathom v7 008 (2019) (Digital) (Thornn-Empire)

Witcher - Of Flesh and Flame 04 (of 04) (2019) (digital) (Son of Ultron-Empire)

Immortal Hulk 016 (2019) (GreenGiant-DCP)

Cellies 009 (2019) (digital) (Son of Ultron-Empire)

Here's the log for this part.

Same problem this week.

File is available via althub and usenet-crawler. I removed althub from the list of providers to see if it was some error on their part, but same thing happened with usenet-crawler.

Mylar grabbed about 20 issues with a couple restarts. I did get frustrated and just let newsleecher grab the releases after it kept failing. Post-processing works great ;)

I tried for Manual Search as well, it didn't find it either. (no log though)

Should I just reinstall Mylar? ugh, not looking forward to that. but Maybe updating Python didn't help or I dunno. Mylar is the only one that doesn't want to play friendly and updating Python was the only thing I thought might be able to help.

This clearly seems like it's a me issue, so reinstalling Mylar might fix it? I'd have to look up the instructions again, it's been so long.

Thanks.

Just tried usenet-crawler, was able to retrieve the exact issue you were looking for with no problems (this is on development, against a watchlisted series - not a one-off)

I think alot of your problems might stem from your OpenSSL / python update - as the search functions properly on my system at least. So even reinstalling Mylar might not help as the OpenSSL / python version will still remain.

Hi Evilhero,

How would I go about installing or removing the current python? Just uninstall the python version in windows uninstaller?

Currently in the windows Uninstall I have:
Python 2.7 CherryPy-3.6.0
Python 2.7.14
Python 2,7.16 (64-bit)

Just wipe them out and install which version of Python do you suggest I use?

It's been 4 years apparently since I install Mylar, I don't recall all the dependencies I had to install.

Thanks for helping.

Just uninstall it from the windows CP yeah. I'd uninstall the newest maybe and try the .14 version maybe ? I dunno - there's something really flaky with the install you're running, whether that's due to the openssl/python mixup or something else, it's hard to really say.

Hi Evilhero,

Thanks for the reply.

I ended up uninstalling all 3 and reinstalling 2.7.14 and cherrypy 3.6.0.

after uninstalling both though, the python27 folder still had a tonne of files in there, so I just deleted that folder and reinstalled the above 2. Mylar still loaded.

This week however (prior to me uninstalling) Mylar was able to get all, well most, of the available files. There were a couple reboots, and I had to try the "refresh Pull list" twice because there were so many files that weren't refreshed, even after refreshing and a couple hours. But it did grab everything but 9 files, and they aren't currently available so... Flaky is a good word for it ;)

We'll see what happens next week with a fresh install of python and cherrypy.

Thanks again.
