Solid Automation process now isnt

Post by jedimole »

Mylar has worked great for me up until the last few months. Im not sure if its DOG or something more. I don't see any real errors in the mylar log, yet my NZB indexer lists all the comics as new this week, yet mylar just now seems to ignore them or doesn't see them. If I manually download them, Mylar has no issues processing and renaming and moving them. Im a bit baffled as to why they just don't get seen anymore. I run the dev branch and I am currently at 2bee5d46574e0f0bc7d0c067d8231444affd356d. Should I run a fresh install of Mylar and see if that helps?

So evilhero has been hard at work building up TPB/GN support and DDL integration - both required some rework of the search matching and file matching processes. I’d suggest a couple of things to try to get to the bottom of what is going on:

Shut Mylar down
Edit config.ini. Find the line that says “alt_pull” and set it to 2.
While you’re in your Mylar directory, run “git pull” and let it update. Paste the results in this thread.
Start Mylar up with the -v (debug) flag. Once it’s up, click “check for updates”, then from the Wanted page “Force Check”. When the process finishes, post that log here as well.

Thanks!

Alt = 2 has been in place for quite some time. I'll give that a try to see with the update

I really think its coming down to Dog being the issue. Looking for an althub invite in trade for a dog if anybody has one.

So your first comment says you're on dev and has a dev commit, but your git pull results say you're on master and current... what does git_branch say in your config.ini?

What sir bbq said ;)

If your git is on master, but your git_branch is set to development, you're on master - and the search patches for dog went into master a few days ago. If you're git is on dev, and your git_branch says master then you're on dev. Either way if your git_branch isn't the same as the actual git branch running the update will result in it not cloning properly.

Also, your git_path should be set to the full path to your git.exe file just to ensure things are correct.

If you can't find stuff via dog, since none of us use dog - paste in the debug log for a search and we can see but with the new search code changes it should be working fine when titles in the search results have decimals as space delimiters.
