Hi,
I saw that Mylar now has an option for a forms-based login process, which is good because it works better with password managers. So I went ahead and switched to that in settings. However, it doesn't seem to work quite right for me.
When Mylar needs to request a login, it sends me to the URL "http://<LAN IP>:8090/auth/login?from_page=/home" (where "<LAN IP>" is the internal IP on my LAN for the NAS I'm running Mylar on). So far, so good.
But once the username and password have been entered, it directs me to "http://home", which of course doesn't work. I get the message "Invalid URL, The requested URL "[no URL]", is invalid. Reference #9.c6b52d17.1519171965.40534f89 " (which I think is actually an internal error message from my Firefox browser, but I digress.)
After that, I have to re-enter the actual homepage URL (or use a bookmark), "http://<LAN IP>:8090", in order to get the Mylar web UI.
Please fix this.
Thanks,

Re: Forms-based login problem
Hello,
I'm trying to replicate thisissue, and am having trouble. Could you verify a couple of things for me?
1: What operating system are you running on?
2: What version of Mylar are you running?
Thanks,

This, was just a Windows 10 problem.
And it took years off of my life expectancy.
Or at least that of my hair.
It's fixed now in dev # 397290d

Well, Mylar was running on Synology DSM (which is Linux) 6.something. But I was accessing it from Firefox 58 on Windows 10.
But for what it's worth, your fix works great. Sorry for stressing you out!
