Mylar not searching on nzb.su
I have setup my api key but mylar won't search using nzb.su, should I add it to newznab provider ?

What do the logs say when you do a search? Check the mylar.log file for more detailed log information and/or try running Mylar from the command line (non daemon mode) in order to see if there's any traceback errors.
There's no need to add it as a custom newznab since it's already included as its own entry.

NZB.SU moved API listening to https://api.nzb.su was Mylar updated to reflect that? There's not date on the announcement page, so not sure how long this has been in effect

Yep, the API address for nzb.su was updated in both Master and Development a while ago (march 21,2014 commit af41c43b4c34af16c386d6fac88b30d43241a52f).
Post the .log file portion of a search being done, and/or reboot Mylar (If you made ANY configuration changes and didn't reboot, the settings won't take effect properly).
