Post Process Failure Windows 10 Pro x64

Post Processing is failing NZBGet log states the following as the error: ComicRN: Could not start post-process-script ComicRN.py for comicbook_title_here: error 193

Also
Could not found associated program for .py. Trying to execute ComicRN.py directly

I know this mean that the path needs to be set but it is set. I have tested with python --version etc also running other git distros that work when executing python commands. Please help.

According to this, it has to do with registering the extensions. Not sure if it's exactly true or not (as I can't verify myself), but the OP ended up completely uninstalling python from his machine, deleted the python related directory and then did a fresh install, which ended up working.

Some things to try prior to that:
- have you restarted NZBget after installing the comicRN script ?
- have you restarted the machine?
